What aspects of your game do you believe need the most improvement to compete at the Division 1 level, and how are you actively working on them?

Parker: I think to take my game to another level i would need to improve more with finishing inside. Getting to the rim and drawing fouls to help open up my game more. We are in post season so im not really working on things right now. Just a lot of reps on the things i do best to stay sharp 
    

How do you handle adversity during a game, whether it’s a tough opponent or a bad stretch of play?

Parker: I always think next play. Its to much possession in the game to sink my mind on one play so i try to get my team to think that so we could be better.

What role do you see yourself playing on a Division 1 team, and how do you plan to contribute to that team’s success?

Parker: I see myself being a immediate impact leading as a point guard. Doing whatever it takes to win whether its scoring or leading but always vocal.

Can you give an example of how you’ve demonstrated leadership or supported your teammates in a junior college setting?

Parker: With the past experience of being a D1 drop down i think it shows everyday. Just being vocal and being a winner before i came to this level has gained my teammates respect through thick and thin. 

What motivates you to pursue Division 1 basketball, and what sets you apart from other players competing for a spot?

Parker: ​My why is my family. Being away from them while im in school and knowing they are working hard and being strong together at home hold me to a standard of not letting them down. I WILL BE A PRO!
